The best Apex loadouts you need to try in Season 9

When looking at the best apex loadouts, it can be hard not to be biased. Everyone has their favorite gun and their favorite combo. I’m going to provide you the details on why the below loadouts top any others out there. Paring the best loadouts with the best team comps will take you to new heights in Apex

9. Spitfire & R-301 Carbine

There’s the argument that the Spitfire & R-301 Carbine combo is overhyped but there is a good reason these guns work great together. If you get into a medium to longe range gunfight, the Spitfire is there to tear down your enemy. With a whopping 20 damage per body shot and 40 damage per headshot, this gun will be your best friend to shred enemies for they even get close to you.

Now if enemies do close the gap and are on you and your team, switch to the R-301 Carbine. Personally, the Spitfire close range is terrible due to the slow rate of fire and your lack of mobility. The carbine will rip apart enemies in mid to close range rights with its fast bullet travel speed and 14 damage per body shot. If you get the chance to pick up an Anvil Receiver, that damage jumps up to 35 body and 63 headshot damage!

8. Sentinel & Flatline

If there was ever a “most annoying” combo category I think this would take the cake. There’s nothing worst than getting sniped and losing 70 shields, popping a shield battery, only to get popped again for another 70 shields. The Sentinel also had the ability to be “amped” by using a shield cell the charge up the next clip and make each shot do more damage. This unique aspect of the sniper gives it a huge advantage in damage and sets it apart from all the other snipers.

Pairing the Sentinel with the Flatline is perfect for enemies you’ve cracked that decide enough is enough and push you. The Flatline is a solid damage puncher dealing 19 damage to the body and 33 damage to the head. If you pick up an Anvil Receiver then the body damage jumps up to 43 and the headshot damage jumps up to 74. As the enemy approaches, you and your team will open fire on them. You can even have one person sit back to snipe while the other 2 teammates are in combat.

7. Volt & Spitfire

The Volt is often a misunderstood and underused weapon. With a base body damage of 15 and headshot damage of 23, this SMG shreds the competition. Compared to other SMGs, the recoil on the Volt is much more forgiving than its counterparts. Taking this into the fight paired with the Spitfire will surely give any opponent you come across a run for their money.

I prefer to use the Spitfire as a secondary when paired with the Volt. Many others prefer the opposite so you can run this combo either way. If using the Volt as my primary I can run faster if I have the gun out and you can easily switch to the Spitfire mid-fight if the enemies back off into a longer-ranged fight.

6. Wingman & EVA-8

If your accuracy is feeling good today then throw on the Wingman. Many argue this is the best gun in the game with body damage at 45 and headshot damage at 97. Hitting your shot with this weapon is very rewarding and is even great in close-quarters combat. Even if your enemy decides to get close and personal, the hip-fire accuracy is still a force to be reconded with. Pairing this gun with an EVA-8 will drop even the best of your opponents.

The EVA-8 is simply here as a power assistant once you have been pushed and the Wingman is out of ammo, making this one of the best apex loadouts. Instead of reloading the Wingman while the enemy is rushing, switch to your EVA-8 and finish the job. The EVA’s fire rate is much faster than its counterparts and still does a great deal of damage. If you were to hit every pellet with the EVA-8 it would do 63 to the body and 99 to the head. If we are looking at per pellet damage then it would be 7 to the body and 11 to the head.

5. R-301 & Mastiff

We could talk about the R-301 all day but let’s just stick to the facts. Its recoil is far superior to the Flatline as well as its rate of fire. Paired with an Anvil Reaver, we are talking serious firepower. No matter what situation you get yourself into, the R-301 will make quick work of enemies who try their luck on you.

Now pair the R-301 with a Mastiff. That’s just double trouble for everyone else. You can take on any mid-range and even some long-range fights with the R-301 but having a Mastiff is a solid secondary for if enemies try to rush and there’s no more light ammo in your clip. Just pop out the Mastiff and get ready to finish your kill.

4. Spitfire & Peacekeeper

Maybe I’m a little biassed on this one but I think the Spitfire is just great. Especially if you are going to pinch another team and you run in unexpectedly. With the Spitfire’s massive clip, you can simply unleash a swarm of bullets with no end in sight. If all works out, you won’t even need to reload or take out your secondary.

Say things do get a little tricky. The Spitfire is still great for long and mid-range but close-range is another story. I highly recommend just whipping out your trusty Peacekeeper. This makes one of the best apex loadouts. With a great base body damage of 99 and headshot damage of 124, this shotgun is a true ally when paired with the Spitfire.

3. R-301 Carbine & R-99

A classic combo that many love and others despise. As if it wasn’t enough having an R-301 drill you from across the street or from atop the hill, you also have to deal with the R-99 completely shredding your armor. With one of the best apex loadouts, you will be the guy on your team constantly asking for light ammo without shame.

Even with the R-301, you will run into trouble with a rushing enemy and no ammo in your clip. This is where the R-99 is king. With an incredible fire rate, the R-99 will wipe out any remaining shield on the enemy and most likely their remaining health if you can handle that wicked recoil. No matter what situation you get into, this combo will surely get you through it and most likely leaving you with more kills than before.

2. Flatline & Mozambique

This combo would have been laughed at in seasons past and may even get that same reaction now but is certainly one of the best apex loadouts to date. We have already gone over how the Flatline is superior in damage over the R-301 and also has much less recoil. It will tear apart any enemy not matter their armor. But what about the best partner for this dominating rifle?

The Mozambique received quite a bit of buffs with the new season. This being the tighter pellet spread and higher magazine capacity. For those who don’t understand pellet-spread, this essentially means more of your bullets will hit your opponent. Meaning more damage. We love this. The Mozambique also has the fastest rate of fire out of all the shotguns in Apex. If you run out of ammo in your Flatline clip and the enemy is close enough, simply switch guns and spray that bad boy for the finisher.

1. Wingman & R-99

There’s nothing worse than having a Wingman 2 shot your shield off only to be rushed by that same person to shred you with the R-99 to finish you off. This deadly combo is great in many situations and packs a serious punch on both ends.

Many use the Wingman as their primary to deal the initial damage and rush in with the R-99 to finish the job. This is a great strategy and I highly recommend it. On the other hand, you could just as easily use the R-99 when running into a building or close-quarters area and melt your enemy’s shield right off. If that doesn’t finish the job, the Wingman can easily solve that problem with 2 bullets to the body. As one of the best apex loadouts, you can’t miss trying this combo out for a great time.
